Up Architects were recently shortlisted along with two other design teams for our competition entry for the new visitors centre and market on the harbour at Eyemouth in Scotland. The project involved the regneration and re-imagiing of the harbourside into a new events venue, daily food market and a place to exhibit the culture and history of the area.

We designed a wave-like timber roof with a continuous mural showing marine life to be hand painted by Good Wives and Warriors and the resulting building would be a sustainably built and affordable long term community asset for this small fishing town.
